Buying a home is such an exciting process, but it can also sometimes be overwhelming in figuring out where to begin. Working with a real estate agent who understands your needs and who can walk you through every step of the process is essential.
This is where I come in!

Choosing the Right Agent
I love working with buyers, and particularly those who are searching for their first home. I am a C.A.R. certified First Time Buyer Specialist (FTBS), so I understand first hand how to work with the new generation of today’s home purchasers as well as those coming back into the market.
When we begin working together, we’ll sit down so I can listen to and understand your home buying goals. We’ll go over the current market, market trends, and neighborhoods to help give you a comprehensive understanding of your desired communities. We’ll go over sample contracts and reports so there are no surprises when you find the ideal home.
Getting Pre-Approved
Getting pre-approved early on in the process is crucial as it informs us both what price range we can begin our search in. You also never know when that perfect home will become available, and we want to have your pre-approval ready to ensure you are prepared to submit that winning offer. If you need lender recommendations I can happily suggest lenders who value relationship, communication, and an on-time closing.
House Shopping
We’ll begin touring areas and homes. I encourage you to do private viewings with me along with visiting open houses. I’ll share with you off market homes and coming soon properties, and we’ll also review homes on the MLS. *Start by using the search tool below*
Reviewing, offers, and negotiations

Once we’ve found a home you love, we’ll review the disclosures together. These include the property inspection report, pest inspection report, title report, Natural Hazards report, seller’s disclosures, and HOA documents if the property is a townhouse or condo. I will speak with the listing agent to discern the seller’s goals. I will put together a Comparative Market Analysis, reviewing comparable properties to determine market value. Pulling all factors together, we’ll discuss pricing strategy so that we can make the most compelling offer. I will negotiate the best price possible and guide you every step of the way.
Congrats! Your Offer is Accepted
Once our offer is accepted and the contract is ratified, the escrow process begins. The title and escrow company is a third party that acts as an intermediary between buyer and seller. I will be in close communication with your escrow agent and lender to ensure all funds are received by escrow and we close by the agreed date (generally between 20-45 days).
Closing and Getting Your Keys

Once the closing documents have been signed by both you and the seller, on the day of closing, your funds will be transferred by the title/escrow company to the seller. The escrow company will record your name on the deed of the house with the county. And once you go on record, you will receive the keys to your new home! And the celebration begins!
